Website Refresh — The Brief

Working specification for rebranding lucozade.co.za to the new "Bring the Energy" identity, prepared for the Lucozade SA Marketing Manager. The home page of this dev site is the living mock: the current site's structure, rebuilt in the new look.

1 · Objective

Why we're doing this

The current lucozade.co.za (WordPress/Elementor, built ~2021) still runs the old orange-led identity, the retired "#Fak'umoya" and "Put in the glucose energy to finish" lines, and 2021-era pack photography. Meanwhile @lucozadesa is already live with the new masterbrand look. The website is the last major touchpoint off-brand. Objective: bring the site in line with the campaign — same structure, new skin, refreshed content — quickly and affordably.

3 · Structure

Information architecture

Deliberately unchanged — the refresh is skin and content, not IA. Nav stays: Home · About · Products · FAQ · Contact Us. The dev-site home page mirrors every current homepage section in the new look: hero, range by pack size, benefits ("feel more alert / focused / energised"), about, FAQ, social feed, contact, footer with the LRS legal line.

4 · Evidence

The look is already live

Campaign posts from @lucozadesa (June–July 2026) supplied by the client — these set the art direction for the site and populate the feed section:

5 · Asset checklist

Needed from the brand team

  • Official masterbrand logo pack — peak-arc lockup: full colour, mono, reversed, clear space, min sizes
  • Official brand guidelines PDF (exact colour values incl. Pantone/CMYK, typeface licence)
  • Campaign photography library — high-res originals of the Instagram creative (incl. collage-frame PSDs if available)
  • Current pack renders (high-res, all SKUs) + confirmation whether an SA pack redesign is coming
  • Confirmed SKU list — anything delisted since 2021? Is 325ml returnable still in range?
  • FAQ, About and Contact copy sign-off (carry over vs rewrite)
  • Consumer-care and trade contact details; privacy/cookie policy owners
  • Domain/DNS access for lucozade.co.za (or a staging subdomain, e.g. new.lucozade.co.za) when ready to go live
